Life of Pi

Life of Pi
Took me awhile to get through the first third of the book, not because of the novel itself, but because school was kicking my butt and I got sick on top of that. I'm actually glad I slowed down; the storytelling is rich, fantastic and engaging. It only gets more and more interesting toward the end, but there was no chance I was putting the book down before then anyway. A fresh take on religion, philosophy and survival under the most extreme circumstances.

This is a great book and I have noticed it appears quite frequently at vox. What i don't really get though is why The Curious Incident of the Dog gets a recommended association with it. Life of Pi sure deserves the prize though. It's one of the best books I have read.
Hmm ... I think maybe because a lot of customers bought both books in the same transaction (according to Amazon, anyway). At the very least, they're both bestselling works of fiction and probably appeared on the same list in the New York Times or something. But yeah, it's an amazing read -- I just finished this morning.
Read my summary on the life of pi plz n comment bac if u can w/ ur own opinion
